Lindsey Manning is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor for Mental Health and Marriage and Family Interns who has been working in the field for the past nine years. Lindsey graduated with her Master of Arts in Counselor Education and a certificate in Marriage and Family therapy and Play Therapy.
Lindsey has worked with a wide variety of populations with her primary focus and interest being with children from birth to adolescence. Lindsey has completed an eighteen month training for Child Parent Psychotherapy and is on the National Roster as a Child Parent Psychotherapy provider. She has worked closely with both Orange, Seminole and Volusia county court systems and the child welfare system to help parents, children and families towards reunification.
Lindsey utilizes various modalities to include play therapy, expressive arts, and bibliotherapy. Lindsey also has experience in working with trauma victims to include sexual abuse and utilizes Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy to help clients work through their trauma and emotions while learning positive coping skills to manage triggers and trauma responses. Lindsey’s continued goal is to work with children and families to help create positive change as today’s children are the face of tomorrow’s future.
