Sarah Penney Reed

Sarah Penney Reed has always had a great desire for authenticity, whether that be in how she lives personally or in the counseling room; she strives for truth and transparency. By working and seeking to grow through her own pain and heartache, Sarah now has the ability to feel abundant freedom. Sarah looks forward to walking alongside others as they bravely explore their own story.

Sarah received her undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University, and her Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. Sarah is trained in the relational model of counseling, that combines numerous counseling theories. Sarah is particularly drawn to clients experiencing seasons in life of ‘transitions', where feelings of hopelessness, shame, anxiety, attachment, and spirituality are the natural questions while someone moves from one phase of life to another.

By compassionately helping each client look at their unique story—Sarah aims to help clients become more self-aware and live more intentional, free lives through healing and redemption.

Sarah was born and raised in Orlando, FL, where she currently lives with her husband. She embraces all things whimsical in interior design and eclectic fashion, appreciates a great cup of tea, and is learning to say yes to new adventures.
